Tom Turner...

As a professional strength & conditioning coach fitness is very much part of my life. I believe in leading by example so partake in regular training myself, including pushing myself in to new challenges which include training for a half marathon in 2018, which for a former gym lover and cardio hater has been a great challenge. With my clients I take pride in my programming and coaching and that is why my programmes go in to the same level of detail regardless of if I’m working with professional sports players or the office worker looking to start up with fitness training. Receive support from a professional coach, achieve results like a professional athlete.

What are your specialities and preferred methods?

Coming from a performance background I am a big believer in ‘if you are not assessing, then you are guessing’. I believe in a well rounded robust strength training programme, with physical performance assessments performed at regular intervals to inform on progression and adaptations to the programme. Alongside the foundation of a strength programme is individualised mobility, soft tissue, conditioning and dietary guidance to help improve my clients all round health and lifestyle. Accountability drives my athletes and clients success, with me on their back every week the motivation to stick to the programme is improved two fold.
